While the surf here is world-class, there is a genuine sense of space on the sand; you aren’t competing for a spot, and the day never feels rushed.

Coolangatta Beach

A short walk south brings you into the heart of town. Coolangatta, QLD sits directly alongside the main strip, where cafés open early and lunch runs long. This is a vibrant, social side of the coast, with immediate access to shopping at The Strand and a steady flow of people moving between the waves and the street.
